That’s awesome! I’m so glad they really liked them! Indy got so excited when he saw the containers he’d go nuts…

I’m glad you satisfied my curiosity with the taste too, my boyfriend will be very interested in that since he was going to try them himself as well haha….

I run a large Dachshund Club in Canada and gave this recipe a try for an event we were having. In a nutshell, let me just say that these were animal tested and approved! I had to keep all the containers covered as the dogs were jumping up to steal as many as they could gulp down! In addition, I tried one and have to say that they were delicious! My boyfriend, dog, and myself ate any leftovers without incident…they taste like a cheese muffin with just a hint of sweet apple…Yummy! Definitely make for your dog and share with your two-legged friends too!

Maybe if you use applesauce instead? Although when you mince them they’re pretty small so he might not notice, I think they just taste the sweetness. But the fiber in them is good for their tummies. They were really easy to make, took me no time at all. First cupcake I’ve made that didn’t require a mixer, haha.

Aww I wish they could too! That’d be so cute.

TYSON DOESN’T REALLY LIKE APPLES, I WISH HE DID BECAUSE THEY HAVE SOME AMAZING TASTING APPLES WHEN WE GO APPLE PICKING.

BUT I’M SURE HE PROBABLY WON’T MIND SOME IN THESE PUPCAKES. SOUNDS EASY TO MAKE AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MAKING THESE. MIGHT EVEN MAKE THEM FOR ALL THE THE GIRL’S AT WORK THAT HAVE DOGGIES.

I’m not sure, I’m guessing the lower fat content the better for the dog’s system? Not 100% sure on that though.

LOVE this recipe, I have friends who have dogs and I will definitely make some for them! Question: why low-fat cr. cheese in the frosting? and I LOVE YOUR DOG!
