Happy 4th of July, or Independence Day to all my fellow Americans. I avoided a specific 4th of July post on Saturday or yesterday because I thought it more appropriate to wait until Military Monday to do so. I also deviated from my usual patriotic cupcake pictures to use this beautiful picture of the NYC fireworks, taken by the above Flickr user.
If you’re unfamiliar with this phenomenon I ask that you check the Military Monday archives and explore my previous entries (my first entry explains what MM is all about), and also visit topstitch.org. Yoyo also participates in MM and I think she explains it better than I. I also encourage you to do this on your own blog (or Twitter or MySpace or Facebook)- its the least we can do to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
So here’s the weekly list of those who’ve lost their lives for us and this country.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
