Military Monday.

Another Military Monday is here. Like I said last week, please remember our Armed Forces & their families this time of year especially. It’s harder to be away from family & friends during the holidays, I’m sure.

For more on Military Monday, this entry explains it all, and here are the archives. I’ve been doing Military Monday tributes for 25 weeks now, and I don’t plan on stopping until I write the last name of the last deceased soldier. And hopefully, that’ll be very soon.

  1. This doesn’t have anything to do with the military…well, maybe in a “my husband is in the army, and we’ve eaten that blue velvet cake before” way…and I can tell you, that is THE BEST cake I’ve ever had. It has blueberries in it! This monday post just brought back a really good memory!

  2. oops….wrong blue velvet cake…the one I had was from Milk in LA. Still, it brought back a good memory and quest for a recipe, since I’m tooooooo far from Cali to get some. Hehe.

  3. I was thinking of making it because I looked into it and apparently it’s just blue coloring (no flavoring) and regular vanilla buttercream… and it sounds really good.

  4. The one I had was a blueberry chiffon cake (and i’m sure they added blue food coloring) with white chocolate cream cheese frosting — and the frosting had fresh blueberries folded into it. It was heaven.

  5. I’ve been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for
me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you
did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.

  6. I have to thank you for the efforts you’ve put in penning this site.
I really hope to check out the same high-grade content by you later on as well.
In truth, your creative writing abilities has motivated me to
get my very own website now ๐Ÿ˜‰

  7. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the internet the
easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while
people think about worries that they plainly do not know
about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole
thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal.
Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

  8. I have been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all website owners
and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot
    more useful than ever before.

  9. Thanks for the good writeup. It in truth was a amusement account it.
Look complicated to more introduced agreeable from you!
By the way, how could we keep up a correspondence?

  10. I truly love your website.. Very nice colors & theme. Did you make this amazing site yourself?

Please reply back as I’m looking to create my own personal blog
and want to know where you got this from or what the theme is called.

    Thanks!

  11. Hola! I’ve been following your site for a long time now and finally
got the courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from
Kingwood Texas! Just wanted to tell you keep up the fantastic job!

  12. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

  13. Admiring the persistence you put into your site and detailed information you offer.
It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t
the same outdated rehashed information. Great read!
I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.

  14. I was recommended this website by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as no
one else know such detailed about my difficulty. You are incredible!
    Thanks!

  15. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

  16. Nice blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from
somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make
my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your design.
    With thanks

  17. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message
home a bit, but other than that, this is magnificent blog.
An excellent read. I will definitely be back.

  18. First of all I would like to say superb blog!

I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing.
I’ve had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas
out. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or
    tips? Thanks!

  19. This design is spectacular! You most certainly know how to
keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos,
I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!)
Great job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that,
how you presented it. Too cool!

  20. I’m extremely impressed along with your writing skills and also with the structure in your blog.
Is this a paid topic or did you modify it your self?

Anyway stay up the excellent high quality
writing, it is rare to look a nice blog like this one these days..
