Strawberry & blueberry trifle from The Girl Who Ate Everything
…
In a few weeks, I’ll be coming up on two years of participating in Military Monday. I hope that all my readers, at least on this day, take a minute to stop and remember our soldiers that are no longer with us. I list American soldiers, but the same can be applied to any country, anywhere. Thank you to all of these men & women for doing what most of us are too chicken shit to do.

My brother is the first name on this list. Thank you very much.
No thank you Robin. I’m sorry for your loss.
My son is 10th. thanks for keeping them in the public eye.
Thank YOU for your sacrifice.
Was shocked to see this but like the other mothers, we thank you for keeping our sons in the public eye. My son is the 20th name on the list. Keep all those still serving in prayers and thoughts…..they too are someone’s sons, daughters, husband, wife, father. As it was said at our son’s funeral. His sacrifice became “our sacrifice”. I am proud of all our soldiers and their families.
Debra- thank YOU, and your son. I have friends who are active in the military and I come from a long line of members of the military going back to the Civil War, so I definitely want everyone to keep our armed forces in their minds at all times. I don’t know if people realize how serious it is and how many lives we’ve lost. Seems to me that wars in years past had more of an impact on the general public. But hopefully my one little post a week can open a few eyes.
HELLO & THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS. MY SON IS 19TH ON THE LIST & WAS 19 WHEN HE PASSED AWAY IN IRAQ. RIP PFC GIFFORD E. HURT…..GONE TOO SOON SON…..WE LOVE & MISS YOU MORE THAN ALL THE AIR ON EARTH……
Lisa, I am so very, very, very sorry for your loss. I know my words mean nothing, and can’t bring him back, but thank you (& Gifford) for your incredible sacrifice. I can’t even imagine going through what you have. I think I can speak for most if not every single person in the United States when I say how very proud we are of him.
Thank you for that Marilla….your words & the kind words of everyone in the US that keeps our Fallen Heros & their families in your thoughts & prayers are truly blessings to us. We never want anyone to forget the sacrifice our Fallen made & it’s people like you that help keep their memories alive……thanks again & may God bless you and your family…….
I’m amazed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both equally educative and amusing,
and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head.
The issue is something too few people are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I came across this in my hunt for something concerning this.
I think this is among the most vital info for me. And i am glad reading your article.
But want to remark on few general things, The site style is ideal,
the articles is really excellent : D. Good job,
cheers
I do accept as true with all the ideas you’ve introduced in your
post. They’re really convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are too short
for newbies. May just you please lengthen them a bit from next time?
Thank you for the post.
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter
to be actually something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and very broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is
added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me
from that service? Bless you!
obviously like your web site however you need to take a look
at the spelling on several of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very bothersome
to tell the truth then again I will definitely come back again.
I always spent my half an hour to read this website’s
articles daily along with a mug of coffee.
Hmm is anyone else having problems with the images on this
blog loading? I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it’s
the blog. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
I always spent my half an hour to read this web site’s content all the time
