As we all know, October might as well be synonymous with “halloween.” Let’s face it- October is great for a lot of reasons (pumpkins, sweaters, apple picking, cooler temperatures) but the best reason is definitely the last day of the month.
Every year, since it’s my favorite holiday, I make an array of delicious tricks & treats. I’ve done quite a few different themes; from True Blood & Dexter-themed, to more simple spiderweb & witch-themed. I loved them all.
But I thought this year I would start things off with something VERY easy. Easier than just about any Halloween cupcake decorations I’ve ever done.
Seems pretty obvious; decorate frosted cupcakes with Halloween-colored candies. Spell out ‘BOO!’ or create monster faces. Duh.
But you don’t really see it that often.
All you need are some sprinkles, jimmies, M&M’s, licorice, candy corn or other black/white/orange/etc-colored candy. After that it’s just all up to your imagination.
And it’s done! Fun for kids too.
