In the vein of Natalie’s posts about the weird ways people use search engines to get to her page, I thought I’d share this with you all since its pretty funny. No, I am not going to give a recipe for ‘no-bake cupcakes’ because, as far as I know, in this realm/universe/earth/world/etc, there is only one way to make a cupcake… and that is to bake it. Even if you buy cupcakes, someone (or something) baked those. So if you read the title of this and got excited for a new recipe that requires no baking I’m very sorry…. I have disappointed you. You, and of course the poor soul searching for the recipe in the first place.
What poor soul you may ask? This one; someone found my page whilst searching on the all powerful Google, and the terms they used were:
(yep, right there, fourth one down….)
Amazing.
Funny thing about that is… I really don’t know why Google referred them to me seeing as how I know of no ways to create a cupcake without baking it and I’m fairly (fairly meaning 100% in this instance) sure I have never posted such instructions. Interesting. I love Google.
I also think the second one is pretty funny.. but not as amusing as no-bake cupcakes. However, someone found me using that term (that EXACT term) twice in the past two days. Once yesterday and once today. As illustrated below:
Now, funnier than that, even is the second search. The one that has the lovely, much sought after “tshirt not all dreams can come.” I assume the end of that is “true.” And lemme just say… wow. There’s a happy shirt for ya. Who’d want that shirt?! Well I sure as hell don’t, and I don’t sell them either. Sorry.
Now we have the most interesting and disturbing search engine query. This is by FAR my favorite. For sure. I may frame this one:
In case you can’t read the third line, it says “cupcake metal towers shit flowers.” Hmm. What can I even say about that. Shit flowers. In metal cupcake towers. Sounds like a weird poem written by a lousy baker.
And here we have something that just doesn’t make much sense at all.
What is a pull apart cupcake? And what does it have to do with flag design?
I hope to bring even more strange and bizarre and just plain amusing search terms to you in the future.
