Press & hype

This page is where you can see all the places on the web you can find Cupcake Rehab, and also all the places where I’ve been mentioned or talked about. I’ve been featured in a lot of places, most notably (so far) on Redbook Magazine online, Chatelaine magazine, the official Tru Blood beverage website, the blog of jeweler Wendy Brandes, Whole Foods Market Cooking, the Denver Food Examiner and Relish magazine.

I have a media kit available for any seriously interested parties and/or PR people.

Also, if you’d like to interview me or ask me questions, or feature me in any way, please e-mail me at cupcake.rehab@gmail.com. I try & answer all inquiries as soon as possible, but please be patient. Also please be specific in the subject line; sometimes the wrong things end up in the spam folder & I have to sift through. That just makes my job a little bit easier. Thanks!

Cupcake Rehab: This blog is edgy and modern — written by an artist and graphic designer. It’s a blog that weaves in some fierce beliefs and a strong love for animals. On April 3rd 2011, I was a guest blogger at Frosting 4 The Cause. In agreement with their rules, I agreed to donate $25.00 to a women’s cancer charity or the American Cancer Society as well as posting a cupcake or cookie recipe. My donation went to the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program, which is a program my mother not only received support from as a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient in 2006, but now in 2011 she’s a volunteer with them, helping other women! I posted a variation on Patty Pinner’s “My My’s Strawberry Cake” from her book Sweets: Soul Food Desserts & Memories which I turned into cupcakes (of course!). Thank you to Paula Kelly-Borque for the opportunity & for creating such a fantastic blog, not to mention for writing such an awesome little blurb about me!
