I got an early birthday gift from my mother today. A cupcake apron! My birthday is on July 30th but hey, who doesn’t love early gifts.
The apron was purchased from The Dorothy Prudie Company on eBay. Its new, but made to look vintage. Its totally adorable.

Yeah I know I need to take a better shot of it on me. I actually need to take pictures of all 3 of my aprons, because they’re all awesome. I’ve got my super duper ‘Cadillac of Aprons’ Jessie Steele full (bib) apron/tea towel and oven mitt set (this one to be exact) that Jay bought me, my Target Dollar Spot half apron (which for $2.50 is really really cute- and can be seen here where this fellow blogger posted about it!) and now this one!
I hope to expand my collection to encompass an apron for every occasion and day. Donations gratefully accepted, email me for my address *cough*

MY QUILTING TEACHER HAD TOLD ME SOMETIME LAST YEAR THAT APRONS WERE GOING TO BE VERY POPULAR THIS AND NEXT YEAR. I’VE MADE A FEW BUT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR PATTERNS FOR A CUTE ONE. I FOUND ONE LAST WEEK THAT I AM GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE YOU. GIVE ME SOME COLOR COMBO’S THAT YOU LIKE AND I WILL SEE WHAT KIND OF FABRIC I CAN FIND SO I CAN MAKE YOU ONE.

My absolute favorite colors are pink and black but whatever colors and fabrics you end up choosing I’ll love!
