Breakfast Cupcakes at Tiffany’s.

‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ is one of my favorite movies ever. The first time I saw it I was working as an intern at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I was 17 years old (yeah, I really worked there when I was 17) and got to work early… while waiting for my two fellow interns and my boss’ assistant to arrive, I popped the Truman Capote penned movie into the VCR and immediately fell in love. In the meantime, the two others came and so did (my boss Dierdre’s assistant) Stephane, and all three of them also simply sat down and became enthralled. Three of us were seeing it for the first time and one for the gazillionth but we all watched it till the end with nary a sound.

Ever since then its been a favorite, and I even own three copies of it. One on VHS, two on DVD: one being a special edition that came in a box set with ‘Roman Holiday’ and ‘Sabrina.’ I love Audrey Hepburn as an icon, an activist and as an actress. And not only that, but I’ve coveted many a piece of Tiffany’s jewelry in my relatively young 27 years. I have a ‘Return to Tiffany’ heart necklace and bracelet, but they don’t have cupcakes on them. Tiffany + cupcakes has to be a dream come true for me!

So why then would it be a surprise that I’d fall in love with this necklace?

I must have it.

And there’s a matching bracelet.

I saw that Mrs. Cakespy recieved one for her birthday, lucky lady!

…. And I want one too!! It matches my layout AND my logo! *sigh* I love Tiffany.

Oh… there’s an actual recipe coming, I promise. Two to be exact. ;)

OMG, I love my necklace. It makes me happy every time I look at it. But I don’t have that chain shown–it’s really expensive!! I just have a plain silver chain (which, don’t tell, is not from Tiffany!)

I can imagine it does! Its adorable. And that charm would make a piece of TWINE look good- so no worries! ;) It doesn’t matter what its on, its bound to end up the focal point anyway.
