Military Monday.

November 9, 2009
Patriotic themed cupcakes from Buzz Bakery & Coffee Lounge in VA

…………

Military Monday is a way of paying tribute to those in our Armed Forces who’ve made the sacrifice no one should have to make. It’s also a way of remembering those serving in wars currently, away from family and friends. We owe them at least this much.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to say my thoughts are with everyone at Fort Hood, including those who’ve  been killed, those who lost people in the tragedy that happened this past week and those who are injured.

I’ve been doing Military Monday for 21 weeks now. Please view the archives for more information. I hope it inspires you to do your own version of Military Monday; be it on Twitter (hash tag is #MilitaryMonday) or your blog or even on MySpace or Facebook.
