You may or may not understand the concept of Military Monday, so let me explain for new readers. Each week I list a set of names of deceased U.S. soldiers in tribute to them & our Armed Forces in general. I include a patriotic photo, usually a food or dessert (in keeping with the theme of the site). I’ve been doing this for just over 2 years now & I don’t plan on stopping until there are no more names to list.
This week before I list some names, I want to send out a big thank you to all the members of the National Guard who are helping with search & rescue missions due to Hurricane Irene.
